  • MLB Friday/NBA Sunday

    MLB YTD 6-5 +2.01 units
    Faves 1-3 -2.21 units
    Dogs 5-2 +4.22 units

    1* Mets +103
My logic on this game is simple. A team that is 14-38 shouldn't be favored EVER. Besides, while the Nationals' Shannon Martis has somehow managed to go 5-1 on this embarrasment of a team, he has been hit hard in his last three outings. The Mets have lost three in a row but the Nationals have won only one game since a week ago Sunday.

    NBA Sunday:
    Playoffs YTD 10-5 +5.6 units
    2* 1-0 +2.0 units
    1* 9-5 +3.6 units

    Overall YTD 61-52 +9.4 units
    4* GOY 1-0 +4.0 units
    2* 7-4 +5.2 units
    1* 53-48 +0.2 units

I won my last play easily with Orlando's romp over Cleveland last Sunday.

    1* Lakers -6 1/2
All these guys playing the zig-zag system will tell you to take Orlando and indeed there's a huge technical system on road teams in game two of the finals. But I think the Lakers will dominate as easily as they did in game one. Orlando matched up very well against Cleveland but not against the Lakers. Michael Pietrus can't stop Kobe and the Lakers are on an absolute mission. I predict another blowout.

I agree with your logic, and thats why it was a no brainer to play San Francisco in the first game of the doubleheader yesterday-crappy Washington with 14 wins favored over San Francisco with Randy Johnson pitching-you go to be kidding me!!!

Love the Lakers on Sunday as I had Orlando last night. Unreal display by them and I don't think they will recover until game three in Orlando.

        GL with the bases!
