GL Garth. Like the call. Jays bats have vanished. This rookie Berken that's pitching tonight for the O's looks promising.

I've seen him pitch numerous times in high school since
his high school was very close to my home. I believe his
maximum speed was mid to upper 80's in high school. He
did have Tommy John surgery while at Clemson. Since having
the surgery his fast ball is now at low to mid 90's. He has
looked very promising in the farm system and Baltimore
with their pitching problems have no choice but to bring this
kid up and see what he can do. I know their will be alot of
fans from Green Bay at the game tonight or watching
it on tv. I wish him good luck on his big league debut.
He is a great young man from a great family.

This is from my brother inlaw:

I talked to his dad last night he's pretty pumped, he headed out last night driving to get there for the game he will be sitting right behind home plate.

Very cool story Deano. I'll be rootin for the kid. He's replacing Adam Eaton in the rotation (the worst starter on the planet) so at the very least he can do better than him!
