Go ahead look at the facts. And tell me who was softer at age 25? Reyes or Jones?

You want to talk about the last six years? That's in no way fair to Chipper. You're comparing a guy from age 31-37, to a guy from age 21-27. Obviously Reyes' is gonna' be healthier.

Do it justice bud, and compare each of their first six or seven season. Or how many ever Reyes has played 'til this point. Chippers first DL trip was when he was 31. Reyes' first trip was when he was 21, with guess what? A hamstring injury. And now he has another hamstring injury. I've got no crystal ball, I'm just willing to see what's right in front of me.

Is Chipper soft now, at age 37, and has been since he was 30 or so? Sure. He was and he is. That's conceeded. But if history tells us anything, it's that these little "injury bugs" don't go away. Especially when it's a guy's hamstring and his (Reyes) game based primarily on speed.

Chipper has missed 192 games in the last 5 years (Not including 09'). That is an average of 38.4 games a year or about 24% or about 6 weeks of the season. He has already missed 9 of 52 games this year. You could throw a cotton ball at Chipper and if you hit him, he would fall over. Face it, Larry is made out of cotton.

He's also averaging 25 HR per year. He's missing games, but when he does play he's productive. He's still the best hitter on the Braves too, bar none.

And knowing what I know now, I'd take Chipper's career over Reyes, any day.

I'd be willing to bet, that Chipper's games played per season is a lot greater than Reyes' when it's all said and done. But only time will tell with that.

25 HR per year? Steroids?? Who knows these days but look at him breaking down!!!

Did you know he missed 9 games in '06 with PMS? Now tell me he isn't soft!

            PMS? Where'd you here that?

But I really do doubt Chip did roids. His numbers never jump out at anybody, he just flies under the radar but stays productive. We're also talking about the guy who challenged .400 for a while last year. So now tell me he isn't productive.

Reyes has played in 159 games or more 3 times in his 6 yr career...Jones has done it 2 times in 14 years.

This year seems to be a different story my friend. How long does it take to fix a sore leg?

For a guy whose game is built on speed, I think he is out until August 1.

Yep, this is the worst place for Reyes to start having problems. His hamstring.
