Figured Id post this one b/c it is my strongest baseball play of the season thus far.
Cubs -120
Pineiro in weak form(L3 0-3 w/ 1.42 WHIP), Lilly in good form (L3 is 3-0 w/ a sub 1 WHIP), Cards lineup is pathetic right now, Pujols, Molina and the Memphis Redbirds. And to boot, Albert is slumping right now. Cubs have won 6/7 of Lilly's starts v. STL. Cards hit only .225 v. LHP and I watched in person on Sunday as they made Manny Parra look like Sandy Koufax.
Cubs 10-1 last 11 as the favorite, 4-0 last 4 Lilly starts, 4-1 in game 1, Cards 1-5 last 6 Game 1 of a series.
Lilly is a smart pitcher that doesn't walk many....he knows how to avoid the big inning.
