Tony leaving because he doesn't like to fly? I think he was told to get the fuck off the set.

When refs were talking and stuff, i kinda needed somebody talking because half the time, i missed what was going on. You turn your head for a minute and look back and you are like, what the hell is going on. It was very weird! lol
Years ago .. back in the 80's ... I had a satellite dish .. i mean not like dish network or anything like that ... I mean a 24ft dish on a motorized tilt ... where it would lock into all 17 satellites ... about 300 channels .. there were channels on there called Hi-Freq channels ... it cost extra but you would watch and see things never like regular TV ... First of all NO COMMERCIALS ... you would see and hear what was going on during the breaks ... like during any sporting event you would hear what they were saying during the breaks ... then on some channels you would hear nothing but the crowds ... No announcers ... during a live show, again, you would hear and see what was gong on during the breaks ... Like THE TONIGHT SHOW .. you would watch and hear what was happening during the commercial breaks ... It was great ...

I still see some of those dishes Joe. They look like NASA Satellites in the backyard. We were actually laughing at one the other day because it was HUGE!

                      Exactly,

                      Nice spin Kornhole.

Funny how his fear of travel did not bother him all last year. ESPN and MNF crafted this so they all could save face on this horrid choice to begin with.

My parents have one of those still up on the roof. It's pretty much worthless now, but back in the day it was awesome. Didn't have to worry about the rain causing the dish to go out or the wind getting the dish out of line. And like you said no commercials and you could actually hear what the announcers were talking about during the break.

I remember Nancy Kerigan making some rude comments after her stint at the Olympics when she was at Disney World.

With todays technology they should try it again. Put mikes on the players, coaches and refs. Have a live mike in the huddle, line of scrimmage and during the play. If done right it could be awesome. They should experiment in steps. Use broadcasters along with players and coaches wired.
