No Filly has ever won the Preakness according to ESPN. I liked her too until i heard that. I think that a lot of people would love to see Borel fall flat on his face. I'll pass but GL. Her winning big would not shock anyone. That is for sure.

I think I may just do 50 on it. Not very exciting when you like the big fav.

Borel is a good guy in my book. I never really considered him an elite jockey, but he is good in these big races.

They also said he was the 1st jockey in history to leave the Derby Winner for a different horse in the Preakness. Very weird.

while a filly winning is very, very rare, nellie morse won the preakness in 1924 so a filly has won the preakness, ESPN should get it right you would think ?

in 2007 rags to riches won the belmont as a filly, and that same year eight belles another filly came in second at the kentucky derby.

So many reasons to bet for (races and times, weight advantage, jockey decision, etc.) but so many reasons not to as well (philly, post, odds, etc.).

As a bettor I will try and beat her, but wont be sad if she runs the race she is expected to and wins and I loose a couple hundred bucks.

Borel told all trainers when they asked about him riding 1 of their horses that if Rachael Alexandra entered a Triple Crown race that he would jump off their horse and ride her.

To me, this is nothing more than a breeding bet by her owners. If she wins this race you might see her run 1 more time and thats it. Some cannot understand why horse racing is going down the tubes.

Pimlico is hurting so bad that all they have is a 20 day meet yet they stopped allowing patrons to bring in their own beer to the infield and attendence is fucking bismal today

YOU DONT THINK IF RACHEL WINS TODAY SHE RACES THE BELMONT THEN THE CLASSIC.I FIGURED SHE WOULD RUN TODAY AND THESE 2 IF SHE WINS AND THEN MEET UP WITH CURLIN FOR A COUPLE LONG NIGHTS THAT WOULD MAKE A GREAT BLOODLINE WONDER IF THAT WOULD MAKE A SUPERHORSE THAT WOULD WIN THE TRIPLE CROWN
