  • Top 12 Home record chase

I got this chase from another forum, and I've been playing this from 4/6 to 5/10.

    It goes like this:
They took top 12 teams with the best home record(2008). Whenever one of the teams has a home series of 6+ games, you chase them to win 1 unit. There were resets, but the guy who set up the series only made 6 game series.

You bet game 1 for 1 unit, if you win you stop. Teams looses game one, bet what you would of won plus the one unit (ex. bet 2.00 would of won 1.75. bet second game 3.75).

    Teams
    TB, BOS,CHC,CHW,MIN,LAA,MIL,PHIL,NYM,NYY,STL,LAD

Only one team has gone to three games(PHIL)

7 teams have gone to two games (CHC, CHW, MIN(2), LAA, PHIL, NYM, NYY)

One team is 3-0 winning game 1 (MIL)

    8 series I didn't bet .

My total from 4/6 to 5/10:
    RISK: 45.00
    WON: 24.00
    LOST: 12.00

    TOTAL: +12.00

Do you guys think this will work over the long season??

They said it has never gone six games. If it does they said count your losses and quit.

    Games 1 for this week:

    5/12 CHC VS COL
    5/14 TB VS CLE
    5/15 NYY VS MIN
    STL VS MIL
    2013
    MLB
    DOGS: 3-6
    1ST 5: 9-6-1
    FULL GM:15-9
    OV/UN: 10-5

I've seen chase systems similar to this one before. I can't comment on whether or not they work, but chasing always scares me.

its not a bad idea at all like monte said chasing always scares me also but sooner or later this team will win.Kinda like the take the top ten teams from last year play them this same way should profit over time only if you have the $$$$$$$$ to last through the bad times

          Very true.

You could end up betting thousands to win 100 or even 50 if the teams are heavy favs and keep losing.

If you have a bankroll then you'll be a winner....eventually.

Why did they take the Cards and not the Dbacks? The Diamondbacks had a better home record than the Cards. Three teams not on the top-10 had better home records than the Cards. Dbacks, Blue Jays and Astros.

I don't know. The Cards were added by somebody else. They also added LAD. It was the top 10. The person who put STL & LAD took out MIN and MIL. The 12 were on the updated spreadsheet.

Leroys lets me bet $2.00. So I can last over the loosing streak......or until the money runs out.

The previous post is the remaining opening games for the season for teams opening a 6 or more game homestand. I used the actual 12 best home teams from last season.

With the Cubs winning the first game, do you start over and bet them in game two for the starting amount? Or do you wait until the next team starts their 6-game stand?
