It is absolutely amazing the lack of run support Santana gets when pitching. The Mets drop to 4-3 in the games he started yet his ERA is below 1. His teammates have scored 1 run in 3 of his 7 starts. The most they've scored is 4. They average 2 runs per start. In the games when Santana does not start they are averaging 5.8 runs per game.

In 7 starts the Mets have scored 15 runs. In 7 Roy Halladay starts the Jays have scored 55 runs. Cliff Lee and Dan Haren are others that are suffering from their teams lack of support. In 7 starts the Indians and Diamondbacks have scored 17 runs.Comment

Its not just run support...in his two losses this year, he has not allowed an earned run!! How does that happen!?!?!?!? The defense blows when he pitches too!
