Give me a break. I don't believe a word any of these jokers say after they get caught. Raphael Palmeiro didn't have the steroid body type and was consistent a hell through much of his career and swore in front of Congress he didn't use roids and we all know how that turned out. What doctor's do these guys use. With what's at stake I would think that anyone with an ounce of sense would check before they take a medication to make sure a banned substance isn't in it. ManRam is making about $125,000 per game. A 50 game suspension will cost him over $6,000,000. If this was an innocent mistake I don't think he would be so non chalant about it.

This is a little off topic, but before all of the trouble last year with the Sox which led to his being trade and now the PEDS, there was an article about how Manny had read the book "The Secret" which had completely changed his outlook on life, made him a better and positive person, that he wanted to stay with the Red Sox for the rest of his career, etc.
I guess now the only relevance of the word "positive" is what he will test with the PED and the real "secret" is that until now is that no one knew about it. lol

I heard this earlier too. They said it is used to mask low testoterone levels and replenish from coming off a steroid cycle. Also, if it was a doctors "Mistake", why no appeal to save your legacy?
