Best of luck buddy! Wish it would dry up so we can get to the links! Might as well be living in Seattle At least we got their basketball team
I drove by my home course on the way home from work yesterday evening. Sure is green. Our golf course superintendent put a big load of fertilizer down one day last week right before one of the big rains. I look forward to playing on some lush fairways and smooth greens if it ever does quit raining. Last time I played several weeks ago our greens were still rough from a springtime aeration and top-dressing. There were some people out there playing yesterday when I drove by but I bet it was 'cart paths only'. Still pretty sloppy.
Rose Creek is a nice links-style track. Yes, I've played a few Tulsa courses. The one I've played most is not really in Tulsa but in Owasso, Bailey Ranch. It's a nice course. I've also played Battle Creek, LaFortune, and Cherokee Hills. Cherokee Hills is really nice. It's east of Tulsa by the big Cherokee Casino. The front 9 is a bitch. There's a par 5 that's about 650 yards long. Claremore also has a really nice public course east of Tulsa.
