  • NBA System Play for Monday.....

This is another strong play for this system.........

5 STAR: CHICAGO (+2) OVER Houston

After a solid opening day win for the Rockets against Denver, they struggled at home against the Grizzlies. Now they go on the road for the first time with new head coach Jeff Van Gundy and they are a road favorite at a place where they have struggled in the past. Houston is only 2-4 straight up in their last six trips to Chicago and the Bulls have won and covered the Rockets last two trips to the windy city. Chicago is 25-9 against the spread in home games off a road loss over the last 3 seasons and all teams where the line is +3 to -3 in non-conference games, coming off of a loss by 10 points or more to a division rival are 36-12 against the spread over the last five seasons. Chicago is the play here!

    2003-2004 NBA RECORD

    5 STAR RECORD 1-0 (+5.0 UNITS)
    3 STAR RECORD 0-2 (-6.6 UNITS)
    2 STAR RECORD 1-1 (-0.2 UNITS)
    1 STAR RECORD 1-0 (+1.0 UNITS)

    OVERALL RECORD 3-3 (-0.8 UNITS)
    A $100 player would be down $80.00

    Good luck,

Richie: [after Gus hits a homerun] Wow and he did it without steroids.
    Clark: What's steroids?
Richie: Something that makes your pee-pee smaller.
Clark: There must be steroids in macaroni!

Good news and bad news for you, John! The good news is that almost everyone is on the Rockets tonight! The bad news is that I am with you on the Bulls tonight! I see the line is up to 3 at Pinnacle.

        Go Bulls.

One of the funniest sports related stories I heard is the one when the Bulls team found out that Michael Jordan was coming back to the team after his baseball hiatus and Luke Longley asked Steve Kerr, "Do you think the coach will put Michael in the starting lineup right away?" Kerr answered, "Generally speaking, Luke, if there is a statue of the player in front of the arena the team plays in, he is probably not going to be coming off the bench!"

I see that Pippen is out tonight. Does that change your opinion of this game? Thanks
