Sengoku 8 mma picks

hey guys, this is another japanese event, which have actually been better lateley than the u.s events. the big problem and i mean big with japan is they release the card like 2 days before the fight sometimes the day before so it's very hard to get all the capping straight so quick.

I have some help over here so my picks should be up shortly, i just want to make everything official before i post. Fights start at 3am eastern time. most action goes off at 2 am.

i placed most at sportsbook . com already i know they are there, but most sites that usually offer mma are not offering this you are right kaz, for example i don't see anything on bodog, but i did get an e-mail from them saying that they would not offer sengoku 8 and sorry for any problems.

sports book.com is the only one i recommend for this event i do have a few other lines but i do not trust those places. ya know

i used to go that route as well not same book but the local that was networked, i didn't like the restrictions he put on me so i just set up my own. picks are coming very soon i see line movement on 1 and want to check something, sorry you can't get lines kaz.

maybe inquire to your local about taking japanese mma events, it's getting big enough i know 2 locals who used to laugh at me and now take mma, even the japanese ones, to be honest i think he just uses the lines from sports book .com

If Pain is giving out picks, his 'knowledge' in this area is excellent. He's a fighter himself. Just an FYI...

I agree. However I like capping my own events. When Pain and I agree I bump my picks usually. This has worked really well in making me some nice money over the last few events

first let me say thank you for the compliments from kaz and pk, appreciate it guys. and PK we usually do see eye to eye on fights i don't blame you for leaving japan alone, some crazy stuff happens over there. I pretty much only go big on mma, i go big on some other sports but not consistently. and here we go.......

Sengoku 8 2nd round of fly weight GP (grand prix)

*** I am putting more than normal on this event but only because of a great day yesterday. i would go small on these if following, but here is what is already pending...


2 BIG plays here (i'm basing this on the performance that both fighters gave in the opening round of the GP) *** means it's part of GP no * next to it it's an undercard

***3 units Hatsu Hioki -325 (this kid is sick guys he will be the new poster boy in japan shortly IMO....120lb wrecking machine)

***3 units Marlon Sandro -165 (again this guy is a beast he is very raw which is why i think the line is so good, also the guy he is fighting denis really impressed in the standup and sandro is all about the ground, sandro should be too strong)

*** 1 unit Nam Phan -150 ( i just think his ground game is better)

2 units Travis Wiuff -200 (just better all around IMO)

2 units Xande Ribeiro -250 (you give me any ribeiro at under -300 i have to take it. one of the hardest schools to earn a Black belt from)

2 units Leonardo Santos +150 ( i think he can get it done)

1 unit Makoto Takimoto -210 ( high line but he's the better fighter, and his opponent is his debut in japan)

1 unit Masenori Kanehera +120 (even matchup, gonna roll with the dog)

Parlays

2 units Hioki/Blanco -140 (blanco is crazy guys seriously he is the biggest favorite at -375, he should run through the guy he's facing)

2 units Ribeiro/ Osawa -110 (both should win.......should is the key word)

.5 (half) unit Hioki/Blanco/Wiuff/Osawa +250 (i'll take a shot on this, why not.)

OK japan one more hour and we are set to roll ! i understand i'm probably the only person who spends sunday night like this but it sure has made sundays fun since football.

WOW i got that in just in time they took lines down at 2:05 anyone that ever follows any japan events just remember it's 14 hours time difference.
