                          Saturday, May 2

                          First round, NBA playoffs

Last three Chicago-Boston games went overtime, four of six overall; hard to lay points in series with so many close games (one of six in series was won by more than three points). There were 106 lead changes, 65 ties in first six games (no lead changes in Game 3), with three games in Boston decided by total of seven points. Rondo had rough night shooting (4-19) in Game 6-- he also had 19 assists, nine rebounds-- he may have to make a big shot in order for favored Celtics to advance.

Chicago Bulls at Boston Celtics (Game 7) [TNT | 8:00 PM ET]

Bulls: The Bulls are attempting to become the first seventh seed to knock off a second seed since the Knicks beat the Heat in 1998. The Bulls are getting huge contributions from former Sacramento players John Salmons and Brad Miller. They combined for 58 points in the Bulls’ Game 6 victory. A record four games in the series have gone to overtime, with Chicago winning three of the four. The Bulls were just 2-7 in overtime during the regular season. “We are going to have to play the best game of the series,” Chicago coach Vinny Del Negro said. “There is no pressure on us. The pressure is all on them. We are just going to go in there and play.” Sparked by point guard Derrick Rose, the Bulls probably will look to run having outscored the Celtics, 99-68, in fast-break points, including 18-3 in Game 6.

The Bulls are 16-5-1 ATS in their last 22 games as an underdog.
The over has cashed in 16 of Chicago’s last 22 games when the Bulls were underdogs..

Key Injuries - F Luol Deng (shin) is OUT..

                                PROJECTED SCORE: 95

Celtics (-6 ½, O/U 196 ½): The Celtics are 2-3-1 against the spread in this series and are being asked to cover a mid-sized number despite only one game being decided by more than three points. The Bulls, though, have never won a Game 7 road game in five tries, while the Celtics are 16-3 in Game 7 home games. Point guard Rajon Rondo has stepped up big-time for Boston averaging 21.5 points, 10 rebounds, 11.6 assists and 2.6 steals. The Celtics are 2-1 at home versus the Bulls in the series, but the games have been very close. The Bulls won Game 1 in overtime. Boston won Game 2 on a late 3-pointer by Ray Allen and edged the Bulls in overtime in Game 5 after trailing by 11 points in the fourth quarter. Game 7’s often can be decided by stamina and the Bulls have displayed the deeper bench.

Boston is 5-14 ATS in its last 19 home games.
The over has cashed in 10 of Boston’s past 11 games following a straight-up Celtics loss.

Key Injuries - F Kevin Garnett (knee) is OUT.
F Leon Powe (knee) is OUT.

                                PROJECTED SCORE: 101
