I havent posted in quite some time. I dont post picks just for the sake of posting them nor to see how many hits I can get from my postings. I only post when I really like a game bc I know people here do follow and I really feel bad when I post a loser so I try to minimzie my postings...
With that said, I really love tonights NBA team total and im playing it heavy.
Team Total Orlando Magic Over/Under 90...
Lets look at the past 4 games against Philly. Orlando scored:
98, 96, 94, 84, and 91
Now lets look at what Howard scored in each:
98 points scored= Howard 31 (67 without Howard)
96 points scored- Howard 11 (85 without Howard)
94 points scored= Howard 36 (58 without Howard)
84 points scored= Howard 18 (66 without Howard)
91 points scored= Howard 24 (67 without Howard)
AVG:
92.6 per game against Philly
22 points per game Howard Avg.
=
70.6 points per game without Howard...
My thinking. Lets say some guys step up and an extra 15-17 points is scored, that puts it at around 85-87 total points.. However, Howard is a rebound machine. Take away his offensive rebounding and those extra baskets they get off those rebounds- Have to subtract atleast 5-6 points (on the conservative side.. With that said, that puts the total around 80-81.. They avg 92.6 ppg in this series with Howard..They only took 2.6 points off the board without Howard??!!!
With all this said, I dont see Orlando scoring much.. I see them putting up hi 70's low 80's at the very best.
