I won my last NBA play Monday night when Denver covered by 60 1/2 points. I'll settle for winning by a half-point tonite.

Chicago has played too well and too valiantly in this series to be eliminated at home. Ben Gordon's hamstring is a concern but the Celtics can't help but have an emotional letdown after saving their season in the incredible game five. This has been the best playoff series in a long time and it's going to go seven.

I may be going against Boston in hoops but getting this kind of price on the Red Sox is a gift from the betting gods. In case you haven't noticed, Tampa isn't very good (forget about last year) and the Red Sox are winning virtually every game they're playing. Beckett hasn't pitched well, but so what? Garza's been just as bad, the Red Sox are scoring lots of runs and Tampa has lost eight of eleven.
