I Like Boston because I think they have a cup worthy team with well balanced offense, defense and goaltending. Carolina has been hot and seems to be peeking. They could sneak up and make a series of it. Don't count Ward out as I think him or Thomas will win this series.
Pens vs Caps is best series IMO. 3 best players going after each other night after night makes for great hockey. I think the Pens win this series because of experience and goaltending and because I am a huge Pens fan! The Caps goaltending hadle been the ? All season and it comes and gets them here. Also I thing the Pens defense is experienced and will make things tough on Alex the Great.
Vancover I think has the best goaltender and the most well balanced lines of any team. I see them moving on as the young blackhawks learn a lesson and chalk one up to experience here. Canucks are well rested and the Flames series was very physical and will end up wearing them down.
Red wings needed the break. They are a vetern team that is skilled and experience. They have their sites set on a repeat and the Ducks aren't gonna stop them. Goaltending will be the difference and I see qlot of goals scored in this series but when it comes down to it I see Detroit's skill putting many pucks into the net and winning the cup. Ducks strike midnight.

Put your mortgage on a Boston / Detroit series parlay if your book allows series parlays. Or if not just bet the Bruins straight up and lay the juice on them. Boston was 4-0 against Carolina this season and won all 4 games by 2 goals or more. They will win this series in 5 IMO. As for Detroit they were 3-1 against the Ducks this season with the only Anaheim win being at home in OT. Wings in 6. Both the Wings and Bruins will roll and IMO will be meeting each other in the finals aswell. As for both of the other matchups they are EXTREMELY tough to call and total coin flips as I can see either team winning. I would just take the Pitt and Chicago as dogs because thats where the value is and a split will give you a little profit. GL fellas should be some awesome action!!!
As a Caps fan, I am excited yet fear this series at the same time. The Pens have historically haunted the Caps in the postseason and tortured my childhood. But with no Jager around, I feel a bit better. I'll be a homer and take the Caps in 6. I think they're more relaxed and ready to play than they were to start the Ranger series. Varlamov is the real deal and there's nothing like riding the hot tender...
