    1) How come Travis Kvapil has no ride after a nice year last year?

        Probably so, but he obviously doesn't bring in the sponsorship dollars like some of the other drivers out there which is what drives this sport.

            Phoenix. Dover has way too much banking, and New Hampshire not quite enough. Richmond is .75 mile track compared to the 1 mile of Phoenix. Richmond has 14 degrees of banking in the corners compared to 11 degrees in turns 1 and 2 at Phoenix and 9 degrees in 3 and 4.

              3) Being at race 9, when do drivers like Newman or Hamlin or others outside the top 12 start to approach races differently or do they?

                I don't know that they approach races differently per say. Some teams will start moving people around, i.e. Harvick and Mears complete crew swap this week, but the drivers just go out there and try and get the best finish with what they got each and every week. They may be less likely to try some risky moves for fear of wrecking and losing out on a bunch of points, but I think each of them out there is trying to get the best finish they can.
