I made two similar plays yesterday but did not post them because I didn't know yet if they would be easy winners or not. They were both pretty easy winners and I'm playing and posting this play for tonight. What made these plays special is that they were just first quarter plays and only had to cover a small first quarter line. What made these plays last night even better was that they were both for the home favorite who lost Game One SU and needed to and did come out strong to easily cover the first quarter. Last night, Boston won the first quarter by 7 as a 2.5 point 1Q favorite. San Antonio won their first quarter by 11 as a 2 point 1Q favorite.
One similar situation tonight with Portland, another home favorite that got beat badly last night. They need to win over Houston tonight to stay 1-1 in their series. Again, I'm looking for a strong start from Portland tonight, winning the first quarter by more than 2 points so it will not matter how they do against the spread for the full game.
