Best of luck to you Vols, I can near garuntee I won't be betting this.

By the way, I think its pretty funny, that there is a forum ALL SPORTS DISCUSSION, and then there is a totally seperate forum for NASCAR.

People must either love it so much it needs its own forum or want to keep it away from all the other sports

I can promise you Nascar is hated more than it's loved here at BC.I can post my Nascar picks and never get a good luck and be 3 pages down within an hour. It's ok though,I'm not after the glory. If I see 50 views and no response I still feel like I helped some people out. Good luck to you and any picks you make for Saturday night!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Vols, I'll be all over some UFC Saturday, another sport that goes fairly unnoticed. So, hey, I guess we're in the same boat

Q = Name the top 36 sporting events attended by fans each year in the United States?

A = The 36 Nascar races on the schedule.

I'm assuming #37 would be a CFB game at Tenn. or Michigan maybe?

Thats why I love it so much.Even in these tough times people are still going to go to the races.Hell we found tickets to Talladega for $40.A two hour drive and a few cold beers and "Lets go racing boys"

I don't know Bill, those RCR cars have been running well, but just haven't really challenged for the lead. Kinda surprised the one name being left out of this thread is Kyle Busch.

I will say that most of the time it seems the fastest car don't always win.But even though I'm still sticking with Denny, Ole Vols fan ain't no idiot either and gonna drop a little on the 48.

You know me, i'm on Kyle all the time. Why? Because he wins and more importantly, wants to win.

Those guys above should run pretty good and have a good record at Phx, BUT for me the 2 guys that I have already got my money on are:

Mark Martin at 15/1 risk 20 to win 300 -He should have won last year in the 8 car for dei but fuel milage fucked him.Now with Hendrick he might get his first win in a while on Saturday night

Denny Hamlin at 8/1 risk 20 to win 160- He runs great at the smaller tracks and has had some bad luck in the past but after a couple 3rd place finishes at Phx a win just might happen.I also took Denny Hamlin to finish in the top 3 at 23/10 risk 30 to win 69.

29,31 should also be good too.And don't forget 2 time Phx winner Dale Earnhardt JR
The hell with Denny,Mark Martin on the pole
