This is my first Baseball Special Play this season. I'm keeping this record separate from my basket and football record which is now 30-23. What makes this baseball play special? How would you like this pitcher as a dog.
"He was dazzling in his Major League debut last year when he struck out seven in 4 1/3 hitless innings of relief. It was the longest debut outing in modern Major League history by a pitcher who retired every hitter he faced." And you get him as a dog.
This happened just last year, so this play is based on his current form, not something that happened 10 years ago. You should box Max Scherzer for a first 5 innings bet, if they will let you, otherwise just take action because I don't see anything about this guy NOT starting. I know we are going against Carpenter, but I really like Scherzer at home for just the first 5 innings because Arizona's bullpen sucks so far this year and I don't want to have to rely on them for part of my play.
