Does anyone else love washington picking up thier first win monday

i know this is stupid starting a thread like this when i have washington as a play in my daily thread but wanted to bring this to everyones attention that this might be a game to make some $$$$$$$$$$$

Washington has not faced a lefty all year long and moyer is not that intimidating.washington has always done better against leftys last year they were 15-25 against leftys only 10 games below .500 against right handed starters they were 24 games below .500

I also love the way the nats fought back the last 2 games against the braves.after the rain delay and 4 run defecit they came back to force extra innings and ended up losing.sunday they did not give up either.i see them getting the win tomorrow and would not be surprised if washington ends up being favored.

hey tech, im not sure which way im going on that game or if im even going to touch it tomorrow but if you look at the current rosters on both team and their history with the starting pitchers. Current phillies lineup is batting .327 lifetime vs Daniel Cabrera. Current NATS lineup is batting .236 lifetime vs Moyer. I wish you luck but im not sure this is the day they pick up their first win of the season... Phillies will play tough too...

GL Tech but I am with Mavskidd in that I never bet against a streak either winning or losing streak. Besides I live in Baltimore and watched Cabrera for the last 4 years and let me tell you I wouldn't bet on him with Monopoly money.

Being home should do them some good. Moyer was god awful in his first start. The Nats problem isn't their O, it's the pitching and Cabrera goes today. It's a coin flip on what you'll get from him. He could dominate or walk 7 batters and give up 5 in the first. That saidl, I love the over today...

Tough one tech. Phils are (7-1) in Moyer's last 8 starts against the Nats and the Phils are (6-2) in their last 8 visits to Washington. Right now, Washington is a bad team that hasn't figured out how to finish a game yet. I'm not touching this game but if i did, i guess i would be on the Phils!

The last 3 years lefties are also crushing Cabrera with a .283 average compared to only giving up a .248 average from the right side.

Today, Philly could have Rollins, Victorino, Utley, Howard and Ibanez all batting from the left side in the lineup.

My reasons

I to have to take Philly.

Nats are not patient enough at the plate,Moyer lives off of batters chasing pitches off the plate.

Cabrera until I see him have a few games with some control I will not bet him no matter what the line is and vs Philly if he falls behind the count and walks people it will be disaster.
