        I'll have to take my stupid questions back to my idiot friends. You guys are too sharp.

        For what it's worth, his birthday was May 17th. When he was with the White Sox he wore #17 and the Sox were one of the teams that had last names on the back of the jerseys.

        I didn't think many people knew that.

                        Trick question- I say Vida Blue-a pitcher no less before the DH rule(in all honesty I saw this a while back).
                        If I didn't know, I would have said Mickey Mantle.
