I just don't understand this at all. The Women recruit too. You know that right? The best women in the Country go to UCONN. The 300th best men go to NJIT. UCONN recruits girls that could probably kick your and my ass, they are not just local girls from High Schools in Connecticut.

There's no doubt some of the better high school teams would be UConn ladies. A good male high school senior would be no match for the best female college player.

Yes, but we are talking THE WORST college basketball team, THE WORST. Women may not match up with the men on scale, but the best women, against the worst men, is the conversation, not high school or anything else, THE WORST men. IMO I think these chicks would put up a good game.

A few years ago I played one on one vs my nephew. My nephew is a far better b-ball player than me. He had no chance. I outweighed him by 40-50 pounds. I would back my way to the rim. Each and every time I had an easy layup. On defense, I'd concede the outside shot. He'd have to make every shot to beat. Same thing under the boards. He didn't stand a chance. I'd easily box him out.

Sorry but the men are physically better and much more athletically talented. This has been tried with Billie Jean and it took beating Bobbie Riggs at 60 years old and he still almost took her. Michele Wie. Failed.

John Macenroe had said the worst player on the mens tour would kill the best female player. Not even a contest. This would have the same result.

The women would be dominated physically every time down the court. Like someone said, those who have played know the answer. I'm 6'4" and when I play against guys who are 6'0" or shorter, they have no chance.

In college some of the better college women would come out and play pick up games and they had no chance against hack players. They can hit an open jumper, no doubt. But they'd be shooting over a taller mens team all day and would get buried.

Absolutely not. I don't remember the article exactly, but does anyone remember the SI (I think) spread about Pat Summitt & the Tenn womens team & how they praticed against guys? Summitt put a flyer out for guys to scrimmage against the girls & they couldn't be taller than 6' 3", couldn't dunk, and had other restrictions I believe. These guys were just Tenn students on campus who may or may not have made a Div 3 team but did have a b'ball background (they obviously weren't good enough to make the men's team). The guys said the girls were real good & I don't remember the outcomes from the scrimmages they had. Summitt wanted to give the girls a better workout. I would go even further & say that they probably couldn't beat an average Div 3 team. Like musclemann said, no chance.............

this isnt even close. Not only would a good high school team beat uconn but just thinking about all the division 2 college teams would beat these girls. Hell the guys that were either too short or werent fast enough are still pretty good ball players that cant cut it that level.

I played in HS, my boys played in HS against some of the better HS's in Baltimore. I have seen the top Women HS players in our area, several went to the WNBA. I watched these girls practice with the all the guys, they just cant compare in quickness. Sorry but they are no where near equal.

To me it's not about how GOOD the uconn chicks are, its about how awful NJIT is, have you ever watched these guys? They are truly awful.

But its a question that can't be answered really.
