Yeah, I would put Montrose Christian or Oak hill up against them anytime.


You guys act like these girls would run a clinic on these guys. Sorry but I am not drinking the koolaid. These girls would have trouble against an all male full court press, they would never get a offensive rebound or much of a clean shot off. They would give up a lot of offensive rebounds to the taller - higher jumping men. I mean Come on guys really.

Nope. The biggest advantage would be size. UConn's tallest player is Tina Charles at 6'4". Every starter for NJIT is 6'3" or taller.

I saw NC Central (probably the 2nd worst team in the country) play this year and while they may have been completely outclassed by the team they were playing that day, those guys were still quicker and more athletic than any women's college team.

Would they use a men's ball or a women's ball?

I think it would be a better game than some of you guys think. I really do. Some of these girls are very good "Basketball Players", no matter the gender.

KB, not all of them end up on the North Carolinas of the world. Those are just the two best in the area. I have watched plenty of HS ball in the Baltimore area and Towson Catholic, Mt St Joes to name a few would beat the women.

Even still, All D1 schools recruit, I have seen many great players go to an unknown d1 school and never get to play. There are just so many good players now.

The problem with the guys is are they coachable. I am saying with equal coaching, the women cannot stack up and never will.

I really would love to see this game happen but it won't because it would embarass the women too much.

You can't compare NBA players with so few teams and so many GREAT players. I think you are getting way off base from the current debate here. We are talking about the Worst Div. 1 team, nobody else. Yes, they may have a couple of inches height at every position but the worst mens team that went (1-30) did it because they are horrible at shooting, defending and they obviously lack talent. These woman do not weigh 100 pounds either. Alot of them are all muscle and they would probably slap around the dorks at NJIT. When there are like 300 CBB teams, it is a little different than say 30 NBA teams. When there are 300 teams and you go (1-30), you are beyond very bad. I saw NJIT play on tv a couple times this year on sportschannel and i only watched for a couple of minutes but they are bad, real bad and i honestly think UCONN could hang with them all day long and probably win. NJIT is a team that won a game this year to break something like a 50 or 60 game losing streak. They are that bad and this UCONN team would school them on fundamentals and pure shooting (IMO).
