Work and school keeping me busier than I'd like, but I can't complain with the way everything else is. Better than bitching about not finding work I know for sure.

              Red Sox - Tim Tschida

The above are the game 1 home plate umps favoring Home team. I didn't list Tim Tschida in the other thread but he's 95-75 +1030.

Frank, I know you are a stats junkie, and you would really be helping me out with this one. If it's too hard to find out, or you don't have it, its not a problem. Just a quick question

What percentage of games are decided by exactly one run ( either team) say over the last three-five years? I will take whatever info you have on this.

                Thanks in advance.

Thank you very much, I am trying something new with plus run lines, and this information is very useful

Plus lines as in Dogs +1 1/2?

IMO never bet dogs on the RL and never bet the Home Favorite on the RL.

Over the last 2 season all Home Dogs:

                      ML 687-800 +2,255
                      RL 810-660 -3,510

The cost to buy the 1 1/2 runs is too great.

Home favorites have won 4,710 games. 1411 are 1 run victories.

Over the last 2 seasons May Home Favorites 354-218 +3670

The same favorites on the RL 245-327 +2,315

Most bettors play big favorites on the RL

                      ML favorites more than -200 28-8 +940
                      on the RL 20-16 +200

What I'm trying and so far working well ( not too many so far), but taking teams I really like, then depending on the line taking them on the alternate RL, at -200 or so, and parlaying them with another game i like at -200 or so.

                        For example today:
                        Parlay: CHW +1.5 (-201)/Boston +1.5 (-208)
Pays a little more than even money.

So far its been decent, but not enough plays to tell.

How do you think, based on trends and history, something like this may fare?
