Is that there must be so many picks over the other, for it to be a play??

          Example:

Must have 4 Phillies picks to 1 Braves pick to be a play?

Or 6 phillies to 2 Braves to be a play?

Or is it something else? I think I undertsand, however.

            MAVS>>>>

Must be at least a (4*) Play to be a POD. Highest (*) games is the POD, all others are regular plays.

            1-0 = (1*), 2-0 = (2*), 3-0 = (3*), and so on

            1-1, 2-1, 3-1, = (No PLAY), 4-1 = (1*), 5-1 = (2*), 6-1 = (3*), 7-1 = (4*), 8-1 = (5*), 9-1 = (6*), 10-1 = (7*), 11-1 = (8*), 12-1 = (9*), 13-1 = (10*), 14-1 = (11*), 15-1 = (12*)

            2-2, 3-2, 4-2, 5-2, = (NO PLAY), 6-2 = (1*), 7-2 = (2*), 8-2 = (3*), 9-2 = (4*), 10-2 = (5*), 11-2 = (6*), 12-2 = (7*), 13-2 = (8*), 14-2 = (9*), 15-2 = (10*), 16-2 = (11*)

            3-3, 4-3, 5-3, 6-3, = (NO PLAY), 7-3 = (1*), 8-3 = (2*), 9-3 = (3*), 10-3 = (4*), 11-3 = (5*), 12-3 = (6*), 13-3 = (7*), 14-3 = (8*), 15-3 = (9*)

            4-4, 5-4, 6-4, 7-4 = (NO PLAY), 8-4 = (1*), 9-4= (2*), 10-4 = (3*), 11-4 = (4*), 12-4 = (5*), 13-4 = (6*), 14-4 = (7*)

            5-5, 6-5, 7-5, 8-5, 9-5, = (NO PLAY)...10-5 = (1*), 11-5 = (2*), and so on

            6-6, 7-6, 8-6, 9-6, 10-6, 11-6, 12-6, = (NO PLAY) 13-6 = (1*), 14-6 = (2*) and so on

            7-7, 8-7, 9-7, 10-7, 11-7, 12-7, 12-7, 13-7, 14-7, 15-7, = (NO PLAY), 16-7 = (1*) and so on...

Would someone mind explaining this to me?

We have so many plays a day, during the season, the statement must be a 4* to be a POD.....
That is to say, we could have 3 ea plays with a 1,2, or 3 * rating, and they would be considered regular plays.....However; if one was at least a 4* play, you would have
            1 4* POD and 2 reg plays....

Todays game thus far is 8-7....thus it would be a no play....cause the difference is too munimal (1) to make it a play, cause you have to give credence to the other pickers (credit for) as well....

Now, lets say it goes to 15-7, would still be a NO PLAY....

            16-7 would be a 1*, 17-7 would be a 2*, 18-7 would be a 3*, 19-7 would be a 4*, etc...

We did it htis way cause say you had 21-20, it wouldn't be a play at all, cause then you wouldn't be giving credit to the 20 that picked the pother side....

It's all about the differential in the picks....the larger the difference, the better the play...

another example...1-0 = 1*, 2-0 =2*, etc, but it would have to be 4-0 B4 it was considered a POD, any less would be a reg play....

we've had days where we had a 7* POD, a 6* POD, 4* POD, and several reg plays, less than 3*....

            Lets looka t a 8-4 on picks = 1*, every pick added to the high side, adds a star, 9-4 = 2*. 10-4 =3*, etc....

Now lets say we had a game at 10-4 = 3* and someone came in at the last minute and played the low side, now we're 10-5 and it drops to a 1*....

doing it this way allows us to give credit to ALL picks, and looking for the bigger differential....

            Hope this helps...

              Under..........1

              thanks for the help fellows

At the present time this is the results...

              SIDES 8-7 NO PLAY
              TOTALS 2-1 NO PLAY...

it would ahve to get to 16-7 for a 1* play on the sides...

TOTALS are a no play, would have to get to 4-1 to be a 1* play, and each play to the high side, say 5-1 =2*, 6-1 = 3*, just add a * to each addition to the high side, with no change to the lower side....

This gives us less picks, burt gives us better quality ones....

In addition, each person keeps his own KRUISE record, and we ask he show it when posting, that allows all others to see who's hot..

                            FINAL Kruise Results

Cut off wasn't stipulated but it's usually one hour before the game starts.....So it's cut off now....

                            Final Tally
                            Braves 12
                            Phils 7
                            Over 3
                            Under 2

taking all posts in consideration, however; one member stated Braves and Under....Ordinarily, I'd go back and ask him which did he want, Braves or Under....In this case I used both as it doesn't matter....Only 1 pick per member...

                            LEANS ONLY

                            Braves and OVER

                            No official play

Thanks fellows, let's try and do this tomorrow again.....I'll use the lines from Pinacle to get us started, and then the final line 1 hr B4 game time for record purposes.....
