The ESPN fantasy report on him states the following:
A torn flexor in his pitching elbow will cost Sheets the bulk of 2009, but chances are if his rehabilitation goes well, he might be available as a "trade-deadline" type impact addition for a contending team. He might latch on for an incentive-based deal with such a team in the spring, but even if he does, he stands little to no chance at pitching in big-league games before the All-Star break. Even after his return, Sheets might get only 10-15 starts in 2009, and it's unclear how much his recovery might hinder him upon his return to active status. He has pitched well in spite of nagging injuries in recent seasons, never once managing an ERA north of 3.82 or WHIP higher than 1.24 in any of the past four years, each of which was limited somewhat by health woes, so at least there's room for encouragement with him as a late-rounder in deep leagues."CFB YTD: 5-8-1 -16.2"
