in the end they will both lose...Cutler is going to go to a much much worse team and Denver is going to be a shitty team with Simms at the helm...good luck to McDaniels with Chris Simms, lets see how long he last as a head coach at this point cant see him going past 3 years...
You know why a lot of people side with the organization and ownership because thats the screwed up way people think man. I saw some guys who gave their organization everything they had and were cut for no reason. The average joe thinks that if you make millions for playing a game you should sit there never comment on anything and take whatever ownership dishes out. I understand both sides in this standoff but what it really boils down to is a lot of people are jealous of the milionaire athletes and you better not make any mistakes because you will look a millionaire baby in their eyes.....period.

In both cases it was the player's dad that were calling the shots. Jack Elway hated and didn't want son, John playing for then Colts coach Frank Kush. The excuse John didn't want to play on the east coast was BS.

In Eli's case, it was Archie didn't want his son playing for the Chargers. He didn't want Eli to QB for a losing franchise like he did with the Aints. A few days before the draft Archie Manning flew to SD, alone, to meet with then coach Marty Schottenheimer. Shottenheimer was trying to convince Archie the Chargers would be a good team for Eli. The day after the meeting Archie called Marty letting him don't draft Eli. He won't play for the Chargers.

Jealousy has ZERO to do with my opinion in the matter and Cutler.

Derek Brooks gave his all to the Bucs. Should the Bucs reward him year after year for his loyalt? At what point should it end?

How much more should the players receive from team owners? Currently, the players receive approx 2/3 of team revenue.

I wasnt referring to you with my response to him. Im sorry you took it personal, I was more or less talking about the average joe.

And if derrick brooks can still perform the duties needed to be an above average outside linebacker he should be retained.

btw I can never remember going to a football, baseball, or basketball game to see pat bowlan jerry jones etc.

when I go to a rolling stones concert I pay my 250+ to see the stones, not their management team.

            Have a good night frank.

Denver fans would start a riot if they got vick. he is a scrub QB who cant think. And now that hes had so much time off he would be even more of a bum . The guy had flashes of being good but whatever he did have we will never see again. I personally wish that somebody would hold him under water and drown him . The way he drowned those pitbulls . sorry i raise pitbulls and wouldnt think of fighting them. im serious when i say if he died today i would go have a drink. i know its classless but thats just how i feel.

Zero chance the Chiefs trade Cassell for Campbell

No way this happens. I'm a Skins fan and Cooley is huge here. Probably as big or bigger a fan fave than Portis, not to mention a good young player. The one thing Snyder does know is marketing, and there's no way in hell is parting with Cooley in a trade for Cutler.

Hypothetical question...if it comes out that Cutler's Dad is behind all of this and telling Cutler not to return to Denver, would Cutler then cease to be a crybaby...and all is well and forgiven as in the elway and manning case...

Dude, get a grip! Denver's defense was about a ham snadwich bettter than Detroit's last year!!!

The Lions have so many needs that they can address later in the draft. Why not fill the toughest position in the NFL with a guy who's already been to a Pro Bowl and isn't even 26 yet. Cutler is well worth the #1 even if he is a bit of a baby.

Man, I pray the Lions get him! That's my team! And I'm tired of getting teased by my friends about them every year of my life! Step it up, Lions!!!

What does Denver's defense have anything to do with Cutler acting like a baby and McDaniels acting like a rookie coach?
