Losing teams never run the clock out, especially when they have played it close all game. IMO, that last second meaningless lay-up attempt happens quite often.

On the in bound pass Villanova tried throwing a hail mary and it ended in a turnover. Fields got fouled 2 seconds later.

Coaches' lack of coaching throughout big games like this amazes me. First off someone has to tell the Nova inbounder, if you can't get it in TIMEOUT!!!!! And Pitt should have one guy up, that prevents Nova from rolling it up, and you should have AT LEAST four guys back to play defense. BTW kudos to Nova, if you go 22-23 from the stripe, no way you lose. Free throws make good teams great.

chado,why would he not drive in for the lay-up,you don't ever quit,i am just pissed he missed it,i win nova though in an ass-tingler so can't bitch too bad !!
