R u serious? Evans is sick...yes, he may not be as good as Rose, but he's not far behind.

yes he's a great basketball player, a star, i was referring to most casual memphis fans who think that he's the replacement of rose. I HAVE HEARD IT ALL YEAR , EVERY SINGLE GAME.

rose last year, and evans this year.....ummmm no and the whole country saw it with their own eyes finally tonight.

as i said to mavs i'm actually a memphis fan, i root for them all the time but when you don't have a TRUE PG on your team you will only go so far.

TRUE PG'S don't dribble the ball off their foot out of bounds, down 8 with a minute and change to go. he's a great player, and can score from anywhere,

ohh wait Rose was a TRUE PG, a great player, made EVERYONE on the team better around him, he could also score from anywhere, and he led them to a championship game. I think he was the # 1 pick in the NBA draft also.

BIG shoes to fill evans, and that's my point, memphis fans expect all of that out of him in his first year. all i said is he's NOT Rose

as a scorer i'd take evans over CDR, that's what people don't get about Memphis, they are all scorers, they need someone to get the ball to them.


All CDR did was benefit from a great PG that got him the ball, evans is much better than CDR IMO.

take a minute and think, if CDR had to put it on the deck , he couldn't, he would miss most shots off the dribble and really didn't drive hard. CDR was and is a catch and shoot guy, evans can create his own shot. CDR couldn't and i'm sure mavs will back me up on that.
