I won a 2* on the Suns last night and have gotten my NBA back on track with four in a row. Hope to get the college picks going this weekend.......
Thursday:
1* Villanova +2
Nova is a veteran team with several senior starters that is battle-tested after the brutal Big East schedule. Their record would be much better if they played in a softer conference. I have no real knocks against Duke but just think Villanova is the likelier winner.
Friday:
1* Oklahoma -1
I've been touting the Big East but the Big 12 was the second toughest conference this year. More importantly, a very solid strategy deep in the torunament is to simply play the team with the best player in the country. That leads me to Oklahoma. Syracuse has to be running on fumes after three weeks of tight and tough games.
