I just went thru every cappers threads here at BC. I found one guy Irish Fan who is on Marquette. There are another 15 that are on Utah St.

Went to another site like this, exactly the same. That scares the hell out of me.

Why the love so much for Utah St??

The line is moving up, so obviously people still like Marquette. The reason I like Utah St is because Marquette has not been playing well since James got hurt, and it's almost a home game for Utah St. They're good and getting 5.5-6 points seems good to me.

With that said, Marquette lost to Louisville, Pitt, Conn, Cuse and Nova without James, and Utah St didn't beat anybody this year, so we might all being getting fooled. Good luck whatever you play

North Dakota has 4 fifth year seniors, but really that's not a reason to play them, since they were division 2 players when they startered there, but I think Kansas is young and if the game is tight they could fall apart under the pressure. That game is in Minnesota which is a two hour drive from North Dakota, so they'll have a lot of rabid fans there. Again, Kansas has all the young talent, and ND has all the white old guys, but pressure makes funny things happen. Good luck whatever you guys do

I think the talent level between these two is a lot, thats why i am having a hard time backing a utah st team that only beat one NCAA tourney team, and that was utah on states home court.

I see/know that a LOT of people are on Utah St. Everyone says how Marquette is such a different team w/o James. Yes, that's true. Everyone points to the fact that they went on that losing streak w/o James...true. But, Marquette would have lost all of those games anyway (w/ the exception of Syracuse {I think they would have won that one}). I am pretty sure that Marquette covered at Louisville and covered both of their Big East Tourney plays. In the Big East tourney, they BLEW out St. John's and if it wasn't for a blown defensive assignment by their best defender in Jerel McNeal (seems like an oxymoron) they would have beaten Villanova. For Wesley Matthews (who i have watched play since he was a soph at Madison Memorial High) and Jerel McNeal, they will NOT let Marquette lose tomorrow. They are going to put everything they have out there and even though it may be "home" game for Utah State, I really think Marquette is going to win. Matthews, McNeal, and Hayward are better than anyone on Utah St. I am going to play Marquette I just don't see them a) losing and b) not winning by less than 10 points.

i agree.Losing to the teams Marquette lost to IMO is better than all the teams Utah state beat.I see a double digit win

The point guard from Utah st is a JUCO first year player, never seen tournament action. And he will be going up against a Big East D, i think i will ride Marquette in this one.

Utah state has zero bench, there bigs get into foul trouble they are done.
