i somewhat agree, but with only four wins over the RPI top 50, it's tough to put them as a #1...it's not necessarily their fault...that's just how it is...

Arizona loses 5 of last 6 games and makes it in. Whats crazy is all the guys at ESPN can't believe they made it in but there all expecting them to upset #5 Utah

Okay, not enough wins is due to the conference they play in. I would like someone to tell these kids next year, right before opening night when they stand at 0-0..... "Hey boys, you have to go undefeated to be considered the best, the rest can lose 4 or 5 games, you have to lose ZERO if you want to be the best." Someone tell them that, and see what happens, because that is in fact the truth.

IMO Memphis and Uconn would meet no matter who was #1 or #2.It don't matter.Just go out there and play.Memphis will still be my pick to the final 4 out of that bracket no matter how there ranked.Memphis just might win it all

schedule duke, mich st., ucla, uconn, kansas...go 2-3 in those games and they get a #1...like i said, it's not the kids' fault...plus, seedings are almost irrelevant anyways...they can win it all as a #2...i almost like them better cause no one is talking about them as a #2...

                  My two cents:

                  1. St. Mary's got jobbed.

                  2. Siena beats Ohio State.
                  O..H.........I..O!

They have to get rid of this automatic bid bullshit

i would rather see really good mid - majors like:

                    St mary
                    sd st
                    creighton
                    ill st
                    new mex
                    unlv
                    weber st
                    old dom
                    tulsa

                    fuk the teams like :

                    Radford
                    morgan st
                    stephen austin
                    north dakota st
                    binghampton
                    chatanooga
                    east tenn st

these teams do not belong in there !!!!

Put the best 64 teams in there and fuk these schools that have no chance of getting out of the first round
Agreed. Tell me SFA deserved to make it over St. Mary's, tell me Moorehead St. (19-17 i think) deserved to make it over Creighton or SD St. You're telling Creighton, and St. Mary's that the reg season doesn't matter, because unless they win the conference, they can't get in. For teams like them, why play in the regular season?

Seeding matters, it really does IMO, everything is easier as 1. And as for that non-conf schedule you put, up if Memphis loses 3 games or more they AUTOMATICALLY can't get a one. That's what today has told us. Not arguing with you Mark, i actually see your point, its a valid one, I'm just venting about the bull shit that goes on.

i agree it's bullshit...auburn won 9 of their last 10, beat fla, lsu, tenn among others, but they couldn't get in cause their non-conference schedule sucked ass...they are the 1st team ever to win 10 in the SEC (they actually won 11 counting fla in the confo tourney) and not make the tourney...what the fuck am i feeling???
