After watching my last play on St. Marys start off bad, behind 1-0 BEFORE the opening tipoff, behind by 13 at the half and lose the game by 28, my play getting 7.5 points with St. Marys could not have been a bigger mistake. I even played a game tonight that I didn't post because it felt like too big a risk, playing Cleveland -11 for the second half and then seeing the line drop to Cleveland -10. I usually play any double digit favorites for the second half if all they have to do is come within a few points of winning the game to cover my second half play. Cleveland was behind by 14 at halftime and I was getting them at +3 for the full game, instead of -11, the line for the full game.
I liked it enough to play but not quite enough to see that something special making it a play worth posting. After losing the third quarter by 3 points, Cleveland started the 4th Quarter behind by 17 and two minutes in, were behind by 19 after going ZERO for 12 on three point attemps. Then the Clippers blinked, missed seeing what Cleveland started doing, and in just 7 minutes, Cleveland went from down 19 to up one and stayed ahead the rest of the game.
The other day I played Nebraska at Baylor, a play that tendog told me about for a nice win. Now they are playing each other again and I should post it, that's how much I like Nebraska to beat Baylor on a neutral court.
One major reason this play is special is because Baylor is a one point favorite on a neutral court in Oklahoma. Why, I have no idea. In fact, do you know how many of their past 12 games Baylor covered. Try saying ONE, that means ONE GAME. See the simple math. All Nebraska has to do is not lose this game to a team that has failed to cover 11 of their last 12 games. I'm posting this play now so I don't have to be awake and alert at 9 AM tomorrow morning. Even after losing my St. Marys play, these Special Plays are still 27 wins and 17 loses. Go ahead and follow me............
PLAY NEBRASKA PLUS ONE POINT.
Tip off is 12:30 Eastern Time/9:30 Pacific Time
