imo, I think Housh is a bit overrated and $40 million for 5 yrs for a receiver just because you need one...those are the type of contracts that kill cap space. Then again, I don't see much of him during the season. Just seems like they are overpaing because of the need and not because of the player.

I agree, bad move. It seems like no matter who plays WR for the Seahawks, it doesn't help. This team needs to rebuild IMO, a WR like this isn't the answer.

Any chance the Seahwaks get Vick, or Warner?

That was my point,who the fuck is going to throw the ball to him.I would have spent that money on a QB.

This acquisition in my mind, is so pointless unless they get a Vick/Warner/Garcia type QB, cuz we all know Seneca Wallace should not be an starting QB, on any team

I don't think they are getting rid of Hasselbeck and I personally think he is better than Garcia.

threejack,whats the odds of either one of them(Garcia or Hasselback) making it thru pre season without an injury, more less the real season.IMO both those guys are 2nd and 3rd string QB's that should be brought in to help teach a rookie QB

I might be in the minority but I think you can win with Hasselbeck. He isn't a top 6 or 8 QB but I think you can win with him.

As for the injury thing, there aren't too many QB's that play all 16 games. these days.
