Sunday hoops on a casino weekend.

I did well at the blackjack tables Friday and Saturday night. I worked hard at it last night, though, getting way down and then battling back over a few hours. It could have gotten really ugly had I not gotten a couple of good shoes at a crucial time.

Enough of the casino report. Won with A&M yesterday.

couldn't get a seat at 3d...was sitting at 1st base. My luck was a lot better, though, when 3d base left and a good player replaced him. The dude bought in for $25...that's right...5 $5 chips. When I cashed out about an hour later he had a stack that was probably $250. I'm just a small-time player ($10 - $50 a hand usually), but I wouldn't even think of sitting down at the table with a $25 stake unless I was just going to go all in the first hand. When the 3d baseman's making the right plays it definitely does improve the table's chances.
