Hit my only play on Niagara last night. Hope that was a good omen for the weekend. Here is what I like so far today. May post a few more later in the day.
Oklohoma State -2 over Texas. Texas beat Ok. State 3 weeks ago 99-74 when Texas shot 57% from the floor and 85% (26/31) from the foul line. OK. State is 18-9 and a definite bubble team for the big dance. They can't afford more than 1 more loss tops. They play Oklahoma the last game of the year on the road which they will probably lose so this and the next game against Kansas State, both home games, are must win games. Ok. State need a win against a ranked opponent and this is their last good chance. Besides, Ok. State is playing real well having won their last 4 games all by 10 points or more. Ok. State is 12-2 at home this year while Texas is 4-5 on the road.
BYU -6 over Utah. BYU lost to Utah a month ago 94-88 in OT at Utah where Utah got some home cooking. They were 31/40 from the foul line while BYU was only 13/22. Utah is 0-2 as a MWC road dog. BYU has won 6 of their last 7 games and is 7-0against the spread during this time. BYU is 12-2 at home while Utah is 6-5 on the road.
Arizona State -1' over Washington. Following rcmcd on this one. Washington State upset Arizona State in Tempe last month when they shot 50% (10/20) 3 pointers. WSU is 3-5 at home versus PAC 10 opponents. ASU has covered their last 5 PAC 10 road games. WSU isn't that good to beat ASU twice in a season. Look for ASU to get revenge for their earlier loss.
DePaul -1 over Saint John's. I must be insane taking a team that has lost 15 games in a row. However DePaul has played some really good teams tough during that time, losing to Cincinnati by 4, Marquette by 9 and by 2 to Villinova earlier this week. This is DePaul's last home game making it senior day. Emotions should be high for the game. This is the last realistic shot DePaul has of winning a game this year as they finish on the road with West Virginia and Georgetown. Frankly St. John's isn't a very good road team having gone 0-7 on the road this year.
As always I wish everyone the best of luck.
Let's
all over the man today.
