Why dont washington games in nhl ever go over??

i use to play washington games over in the nhl and made a killing in the past doing so. but now i have bet them over this year and am like 1 and 8 betting them over. yet i see tonight everyone and there mama is on them to go over tonight 6 and a half??? against another team atlanta that doesnt go over. why doesnt washington ever go over anymore??. yes i know they went over this past weekend. but whats there problem scoring?? please dont say they are a good defensive team.
