Good job Phil. The thing is if we made a thread about stop-watching handicapping (which, is obviously the most accurate type of handicapping), it would be moved to Non-Gambling Issues, because no one would know what the fvk we were talking about. . What do we do on Saturday's when there is over 50 CBB games, and it goes from 500 to 600, if we get 03 do we use 503 or 603. These are the kinds of things we need to figure out before we can invest in this as a profitable way of gambling

One last thing to add to the stopwatch way of doing things:
Sometimes in the past in addition to using the stopwatch method of capping, I have tried another numbers game:
For say a week I keep track of all the numbers(which of course correspond to a team in the schedule book).
If I notice that say a number(lets use 25) gets hot and wins four or five games in a row, I may very well play whatever team corresponds to that number the next day and until the number loses.
Conversely if a number goes cold or goes on a losing streak, I will bet AGAINST that number(in the example above, the team or teams which correspond to #26-sometimes on Saturday there are as many as three teams which correspond to a given number sxince there are usually many games on that day).
Again, I would play against that number until it wins.
I don't do this every day-only if I have been losing using traditional methods or the mood just happens to hit me.
