Special Play for Tuesday Late Game - (24-16 YTD)

Coming off a split yesterday, I just read about this play and why it's special. BYU is at San Diego State. Tip off at 7:30 PST. Billy White, F-C for San Diego, hurt his knee in the first minute of San Diego's last game, didn't return and is OUT for tonight. Without him last week at New Mexico, San Diego State lost by 26 points, their worst loss since 2004 to Wyoming.

So, why is his loss special. He only averages 9 points a game; however, his last 5 games he averaged 13 ppg. In the two games before his injury HE SHOT AN UNBELIEVABLE 19 FG's IN A ROW. No question he will be missed big time again tonight, yet the line still favors San Diego by a point. This is an anti-San Diego play.

What A Game Of Runs

I can't remember a game where each side went on a long run and I have never seen or read about a team being outscored 21-2 the last 10 minutes of the first half and still able to come back and win the game by double digits. That was BYU who late in the second half held San Diego scoreless from 6:30 left until just 30 seconds were left, outscoring San Diego 12-2.

The first score I saw was San Diego up 33-20 at halftime and I thought I sure made a big mistake posting BYU +1 as a play. Final score BYU 69 San Diego State 59; my plays are now 25-16 YTD.
