I'm not sure what condition the course is in with all the rain we have received in California the last week and a half. It will probably play longer than it usually does and the greens will be more receptive to all shots which might favor longer hitters and less on ball striking. The rough is always difficult here and driving accuracy still needs to be considered. GIR should remain the most important statistic here.

Luke Donald -135 over Vijay Singh
Donald has returned from injury this season as good as he left. He has done well here in the past and the course suites his style of play. Singh came back from surgery last week and missed the cut at Pebble. His rust showed. He wasn't even able to crouch to read putts. His record here is poor for someone of his standing with 18th the best of 6 starts although he has made every cut possible.

Lucas Glover -115 over Justin Leonard
Glover has quietly impressed so far this season and his stats last time out were superb highlighting how solid his game is at the moment. He has played here twice previously and put in a couple of decent performances. Leonard put in some excellent performances towards the end of last season but his finishes this season haven't been so great. He also has shown very little form here in his previous visits.
