I got a couple buddies that are big BRAVES fans. We are going to Atlanta in August to see a series. One has a son who is Diehard Chipper fan and Braves fan. So it should be fun.

I am extremely excited over this. Have Braves/Marlins spring training tickets 5 rows behind their dugout in March. Hopefully he will be there and will be willing to sign some things. Absolute favorite player growing up besides Maddux. Thankful he will finish his career with Atlanta.

If the news says it is true it must be I don't trust anything the news says, especially an NBC affiliate.

It sounds like a 50/50 proposition between Braves and Mariners, so a good chance they will be right. I just haven't seen anything on ESPN, CBS, Rotoworld, etc that says it's a done deal.
