The NBA after the All-Star break is tricky every year as several teams reverse form. I think I've found two to play tonight.
1* Pacers -2 1/2
Indiana scores points like crazy and has everybody but Dunleavy healthy. Philly has over-achieved all year but may fold down the stretch. I look for indiana to put in a run for the playoffs and if I'm right it means they have to win home games like this one.
1* Suns -7 1/2
I've been posting all year here about how Terry Porter was destroying the Suns by trying to slow them down. He's a terrible coach and proved it again by not lasting even one season. Look for an immediate improvement in Phoenix's play now that Gentry lets them run. Richardson is out but Stoudamire and Nash, now that they know they aren't being traded, will play hard tonight to make a point that the first half woes were because of an idiot coach. The Clippers? Look for them to show up tomorrow night in the second of a home-and-home; they get smacked in this one.
