Report: Tyson Chandler traded to Thunder

The Hornets have reportedly dealt Tyson Chandler to the Thunder for Chris Wilcox, Joe Smith and the rights to Devon Hardin, the 50th pick of the 2008 Draft.
Once Chandler is ready to play (he's missed 12 straight games with a sprained ankle), he would take over as the starting center in Oklahoma City, where his limited scoring average could take a slight hit without alley-oops to catch from Chris Paul. Meanwhile, New Orleans acquires a pair of expiring contracts, and Chris Wilcox -- who could take over as the Hornets' starting center -- gets a clear boost in value.

This team needs an imposing interior defensive player and they got exactly that with Chandler. Still quite young at 26. Love the trade

pretty much a steal for the thunder...they have a nice young core now with westbrook and durant...they need a good point guard now and theyll be set...westbrook is more the off guard
