#18-25? We shall see, they are definetly going to shock you then. Mike Anderson finally has the team where he can play 40 minutes of hell, the frenetic style he wanted. Mizzou has 12 players that average atleast 6 minutes a game, and they attack the passing lanes well. Missouri is third in the nation in steals averaging 10.3 per game and second in turnover margin +6.6. They play with alot of energy, enthusiasm and intensity. Mizzou had a couple of real bad games this year against Illinois and at K-State, but who doesn't have games like that in a long season? They bounced back against K-State beating them by 20 which really could have been alot more, and I honestly believe if MU got a rematch against Illinois that Missouri would beat them handely right now. Including Mizzou's road loss to K-St, Missouri has won 4 of their last 5 road games, 11 wins in their last 12 overall, and 7 straight. Missouri has also covered the spread in 6 of their last 7 games, only one they didn't cover against was KU but they still won the game. Mizzou's other two road losses were against Xavier and Nebraska, both of which they could have easily won. Mizzou was actually beating Xavier by about 5 with under 2 minutes but failed to hit their freethrows. That is something they definetly need to work on. Xavier is another team that I am almost positive Mizzou would beat right now in a rematch. Missouri is very dangerous, don't be shocked if they go to Lawrence and get the win, then return home and beat the Sooners. I know I won't be. I can't wait to see how many points Missouri will be getting against KU Sunday. Getting any points is too much. This is going to be MU vs. KU for the #1 spot in the Big 12, Tigers will not go down lightly and they already know they can beat them. I just hope they keep the rebound margin close and hit their freethrows. You can make alot of money on Mizzou the rest of the year including tournaments, alot of people are underestimating them.
