I seen where there was concern with Stewart and Newman starting from the rear. No worries IMO. Stewarts "backup" car/chassis is the same one he used last Saturday to finish 3rd. in the Bud Shootout. Car was also used by Jonny Sauter to finish 12th in the Oct. '07 Talladega race, and Sott Riggs finished 21st. in last years 500.
Newman on the other hand was already in a back-up car after crashing in the Duel race. He'll be using a "communal" car, which also has super speedway history.
In short these guys are teammates its a long race and starting postion doesn't mean a whole lot. They will work with each other to get themselves to the front.
