I agree, I think the Jets will trade him to Minnesota for a 3rd round pick that the Jets lost. The Vikings are a decent QB away from making a run in the NFC.Good,Honest Handicapping. Florida Tebow 24-Oklahoma Bradford 14, Jan 09'

There's something wrong with telling the team he plays for he plans to retire????? He's not the one who covers the story 24/7. ESPN does. Don't be pissed at Favre for telling his team he plans to retire, be pissed at ESPN.Last edited by harold_bush; 02-11-2009, 12:49 PM.

However, I don't think anyone is naive enough to think Brett doesn't think people give a shit. This guy (most athletes) is in love with himself, and thinks the world revolves around him. I can gurantee you he think this is a story people care about. I was just pointing out that very few people I've heard care at all about this story. I hope he gets up and gives us another cry speech.
After last season, when he did everything he could to bring attention to himself with the issue as to whether he would play or not play, I really hope this decision stays final.
I wonder what he will do now (assuming this is it regarding hs retirement) to crave the attention he so desperately needs.
I suppose he could go into the broadcast booth and try to hog attention there or maybe even politics where many folks with plenty of money have gone to feed their inflated self opinions of themselves.
