  • NBA Sunday

    Basketball YTD 33-23 +10.5 units
    College 1-0 +1.0 units
    NBA 32-23 +9.5 units
    2* 5-2 +5.6 units
    1* 28-21 +4.9 units

I split yesterday, losing with the Heat (gotta stop playing them) and winning a college play with Wis-Milwaukee. Today's NBA card seems really strong.

    2* Thunder -7
This has the makings of a wipeout. Sacramento is playing terribly and is coming off a rare close loss at home to Utah. They travel to OKC after beating the Thunder in Sacramento last Sunday. Revenge is overrated in sports but when NBA teams play a team that beat them on a short turnaround they often play with real motivation. Besides, OKC is a decent team that beat a solid Portland team straight up Friday night. I've made a lot of money riding OKC this year (now 30-19 ATS) and this is an especially good spot.

    1* Hornets -2 1/2
New Orleans isn't the same team without Chris Paul but Minnesota may be headed for a tailspin after its amazing January. The T-wolves were smacked last night by Houston while New Orleans has a day of rest as it ends a four game homestand. Minnesota has now lost five of six.

    1* Warriors +1 1/2
Golden State is playing well right now, splitting a home and home with Phoenix after taking San Antonio to OT. No knocks on Utah but Golden State is entering a favorable scheduling period and doesn't play a road game for 15 days.

    Opinion only:
    Nets

I was considering the UNDER but changed my mind. Pro Bowl results the last few years have been erratic after being on a consistent scoring uptrend for a decade.
