just finished watching the pistons cav's game. talk about 1 pathetic team. 4 wins in their last 14 games. ive been a big piston fan since the 60's with dave bing, had to go thru the dick vitale revitalized pistons, had the bad boys, and the 2000 teams with billups that made the conference finals 4ever. now i have this team that really needs to get rid a few players and use some of the young guys. end of the season, sheed bye bye, ai bye bye, and hello cap space. next season stuckey, amir johnson, afflalo should get a ton of playing time. will they sign anyone in the off season? maybe some bench help to get thru the season, but only 1 year contracts. will they make the playoffs next year? could, eastern conference isn't that great. celts, cav's, and magic are locks, but after the hawks only 3 teams are over .500, including pistons. rumor is they want chris bosh (free agent after 09/10 season). rumor is they may trade prince for stephen jackson. they really need a consistant scorer. maybe in 2010 they can have a starting lineup of stuckey, jackson, bosh, johnson, and who knows who at small forward. what ever happened to walter sharpe? maybe he'll get playing time next season.

i was listening to van gundy talking about the players finishing the 4th quater, and why with a 15-2 run the cav's put james back in the game. i was thinking, if the pistons keep getting their ass's kicked in the 4th with those old legs that don't play defense, why didn't they put johnson and stuckey back in the game. younger legs can move and play "D".

i think i said enough for now. i could go on for ever. i just hope in 2 years they'll be competitive again. as for this year and next, they're done.
