POD Maryland Pick over Miami. Maryland has lost 4 of their last 5 games including the 40 point blowout by Duke last weekend. I live about 45 minutes from the Maryland campus. All week long the papers and radio call in shows have been turning up the heat on Gary Williams, with 90% of the comments being fire Gary Williams. He is even getting into a war of words with the Athletic Department about his recruiting of some players who left the program. Bottom line is the players know their backs are against the wall as is Gary Williams' back. 2 weeks ago Maryland had a 17 point second half lead over the same Miami team, before losing 62-60. This tells me that Maryland is fully capable of beating Miami. Maryland must win today if they have any chance of going to the tournament and if they hope on quieting the critics, and possibly saving their coach's job
